About Apsaras Events
Apsaras Events was built from a feeling, the feeling you get when music, colours and culture turn a moment into a memory. Based in Italy, we connect couples and planners with Indian, South Asian and multicultural wedding artists who bring that feeling to life: mehendi artists, musicians, dancers, dhol players, stylists, drapers, priests and more.
Our role is simple; we help you celebrate your culture beautifully, wherever in Italy your wedding takes you.
About the Founder
Apsaras Events began with Valentina Manduchi, an Italian artist who fell in love with Indian culture. What started as curiosity turned into years of travel, training and learning Kathak directly in India, not just the movements, but the values, the stories and the community behind them.
That journey led her to Bollywood film premieres, collaborations with renowned choreographers and eventually to supporting couples who wanted to honour their traditions during their destination weddings. Slowly, the performances turned into requests:“Do you know a mehendi artist?”“Can you help us find a dhol player?”
And that’s how Apsaras Events grew, not as a planning company, but as a cultural partner. A place where couples could find trustworthy, skilled artists who understand traditions and know how to bring them gently into an Italian setting.
More than 150 weddings later, our philosophy is still the same:
